Glacier Park Lodge
LOGE (Izaak Walton Inn)
Downtown Kalispell
Airbnbs and VRBOs
If you’d like to book an Airbnb or VRBO there’s a few locations you can search. Just make sure to check the location of the town the property is in. When you search “East Glacier Park,” for example, it casts a wide net and will get properties that are near and far!
Here’s a quick guide to the locations that might come up:
East Glacier Park: this is the same town the venue is located in
Essex: this is a small area, about 30 minutes from East Glacier Park
West Glacier: smaller area, closer to the main entrance to the park. About a 55 minute drive to East Glacier.
Whitefish: “larger” resort/tourist town, about 2.5 hour drive from East Glacier Park
Kalispell: larger town with more resources (Costco! Walmart!). About 2 hour drive to East Glacier.
More lodging options
For more options spanning different locations around the park, check out this list provided by a local tour company. Just make sure to check the driving distance to the wedding venue and other areas you want to visit.

Glacier Park Lodge
This is the official venue for the wedding! It will be the most convenient for the big day. It’s a legendary park lodge, that has a grand feel of all the old lodges.
Please note that there are a few types of rooms, some are more recently renovated while others will be (much) older. Try to request a “renovated room” when you call in to book.
If you prefer to stay somewhere with up-to-date rooms, we recommend checking out LOGE. Their rooms were remodeled more recently.
Glacier Park Lodge is all about the charm and location, not about having fancy amenities.

LOGE
Formerly known as the historic Izaak Walton Inn, the LOGE was purchased by a new hotel group and remodeled in 2023. The rooms are more up-to-date because of this, but they did a good job of maintaining the old inn’s charm. There are typical hotel rooms, but they also offer a select number of cabins as well as a few train cabooses that have been turned into charming hotel rooms.
