Weather

Those who try to predict the weather in Montana are either fools or newcomers.” -Dave Novis

We’re sometimes fools, but definitely not newcomers, so we won’t try to predict the weather. That being said, the last week of July has historically been the best weather in western Montana.

The days are usually warm (high 80s) but dry. However, the evenings will get cold! We’re at elevation, after all. Bring a jacket for the evening. The wedding and reception will be outside!

Plan for hot days and cool nights.

Enjoy what we call the Montana AC, open the windows and blinds in the early morning to let the cool air in. Then shut the blinds and windows as the day progresses to keep the sun and heat out.

East Glacier and the east side of the park are often very windy.
